We crossed from Nepal back to India today. It took soooo long!
We took lots of buses and rickshaw as well. This jeep was so crowded that the driver was sitting on another passengers lap!!
I was sitting on mummy's lap but that's normal.

Today we took an early train to Lucknow. I slept on mummy most of the way. At Lucknow we met our friend Anish and his wife ashita and they took us to their farm for the day. I got to play with goats, cows, turkeys and even a baby goat!! It was awesome! Then we got on another train for the night. So many trains.. When we woke up this morning we were back in Delhi! I like Delhi this time! It's a nice temperature.
We walked around a lot and had lots of chai. These old men thought I was funny because I like to dance to the bhajan music. They gave me my own chai and even a biscuit! Maybe I should be a dancer? @ Delhi, India We went and did some sightseeing today around Delhi. There are lots of parks in Delhi! I like it here. Except when it's really hot. Then I don't like it.
When we got home there was a big Sikh festival happening. Lots of people were playing music and dancing in the streets! They were also giving free food to everyone!! I got a balloon and lots of candy and even some chai! It was craaaazy fun! @ Delhi, India We said goodbye to Mel and Jess today. They took a plane back to Kathmandu and we took a bus to lumbini. I didn't like this bus.. It was twisty and turny and bumpy and I accidentally vomited all over mummy.. Then I felt so bad I cried and cried because mummy was dirty and wet and stinky.. Eventually we stopped and mummy washed her top and I wa really happy she was less stinky. I still didn't feel well though an I slept for the next 4 hours of the trip... Today we visited Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. I LOVE Buddha and I was so excited to see him everywhere!!
We rented bicycles to see all the stupas, and, although I started out in the boba on daddy and mummy's backs, I found my way into the basket and it was sooo much more fun!! Who needs a baby bike seat when you are small enough to sit in a basket? Everybody says "butter wouldn't melt" about me, but then get angry when I try to eat big chunks of it?! It's not fair.. We are in Pokhara now. There is a really big lake here and lots of sand and rocks for me to play with! It doesn't take much to make me happy!! Oh and Jess and Mel and Leo are here too. They are my friends and they like playing with rocks too! I'm 21 months old today! Mummy and daddy say in getting cheekier and cheekier but I just understand more and more about the world and keep asking questions. |
